The route

Questions about this trip

Who is this 14-day route actually for?

People who want to see the whole country in one trip rather than plan several separate visits — the coast, the Rif, the desert and the imperial cities all in one route.

Are there genuine rest days on this trip?

Yes — days 3 and 10 are kept free by design, in Essaouira and Chefchaouen, rather than scheduling a stop every single day.

Can I shorten this route if two weeks is too long?

Yes — most of our shorter routes are subsets of this same loop, so we can trim it to fit your dates.

Does this trip include two nights in the desert?

One full night in Merzouga is included; a second desert night can be added on request.

What's the total driving time on this route?

It varies by day, from short 90-minute hops to one or two 6-hour legs — nothing is done in a single marathon drive.
