The route

Questions about this trip

Is three days enough to actually feel the desert, not just pass through it?

You get one full night in the dunes with a sunset and sunrise camel ride either side of it — short, but a real desert night, not a drive-by.

Do I need to be an experienced rider for the camel trek?

No experience is needed — the camels are led by a guide at walking pace, it's about an hour each way.

Can this tour end in Fes instead of returning to Marrakech?

Yes — ask about our one-way version if you're continuing north afterward.

What's the accommodation like on night two, in the Dades Valley?

A hotel or kasbah-style guesthouse, a step up in comfort from the desert camp the night before.

Is this trip physically demanding?

No — most of it is spent in the vehicle or walking short distances; the camel trek is the only "activity" and it's gentle.
