Morocco is a country the size of Spain sitting at the top-west corner of Africa, an hour by ferry from Europe and a few hours by air from most of it. Inside that space are four imperial cities, two coastlines, three mountain ranges, Roman ruins, medieval medinas and the northern edge of the Sahara.
This part of our journal is about that Morocco — where to go, what things are, how to move around, and what nobody tells you before you arrive.
