Last updated: [DATE]. This is a starting framework. Have it reviewed by a lawyer or your regional tourism delegation before you take bookings — tour operator terms carry legal weight in the markets you sell to.
1. Who we are
These terms apply to all bookings made with Ecoviato, [legal company name], registered at [address], Morocco, licence number [number]. By confirming a booking you accept these terms.
2. Making a booking
Enquiries are free and carry no obligation. A booking becomes binding when we have confirmed your itinerary in writing and received your deposit. Please check every detail of the confirmation and tell us immediately if anything is wrong.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are quoted per person in [currency] and are based on the number of travellers, the season and the accommodation chosen. A deposit of [X]% confirms the booking. The balance is due [X days before arrival / on arrival]. We accept [payment methods].
4. Cancellation by you
If you need to cancel, tell us in writing as early as you can. Our standard schedule is:
- More than [30] days before departure: [deposit refunded / deposit retained]
- [15–30] days before departure: [X]% of the total is payable
- Fewer than [7] days before departure: [X]% of the total is payable
5. Cancellation or changes by us
We very rarely cancel a trip. If we must do so for reasons within our control we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund. We may need to change an itinerary because of weather, road closures, strikes, political events or other circumstances beyond our control; in that case we will provide the nearest equivalent arrangement we can.
6. Seasonal and harvest activities
Any activity tied to a season — a harvest, a blossom, a festival — depends on the weather and the growing year. We give windows rather than fixed dates and confirm as close to travel as possible. We cannot guarantee that a specific crop will be in harvest on a specific day.
7. Travel insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travelling with us. Your policy must cover medical treatment, repatriation and cancellation. If your trip includes trekking, check the altitude limit in your policy and whether adventure activities are covered.
8. Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding a valid passport, any visa required for your nationality, and any vaccinations or health precautions you need. We are happy to advise, but the responsibility remains yours.
9. Fitness and health
Some of our trips involve walking on uneven ground, altitude, heat or long drives. Please tell us at the time of booking about any medical condition, mobility need or dietary requirement so we can plan properly.
10. Behaviour
We ask all travellers to behave respectfully towards their guides, drivers, hosts and the communities they visit. We reserve the right to end a trip without refund in cases of serious misconduct.
11. Our liability
We take reasonable care in selecting the hotels, camps, transport and guides we work with. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, or for personal belongings left unattended.
12. Complaints
If something is wrong during your trip, tell your guide or contact us immediately so we can try to fix it there and then. If it cannot be resolved, write to us at [email address] within [28] days of returning home.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Morocco.
